My Story
In 2015, I took a leap of faith and signed up for a career that turned into a career of my dreams! I was 19, I had no idea what I was good at, how I was going to live a steady life style, and what was going to fill my life with purpose.
Growing up, I always had a fascination with how to heal my acne prone skin, and how to help others with their skin. (Thankful for better skin care now, that St. Ives did me dirty even back in the day).
Also while growing up, I developed into a role of a “nurturer”. So much that it affected me everywhere I went. Someone eating alone, the elderly working, someone being bullied - cue the tears. As time went on I learned to stop getting emotional and learned how to apply my skills of comfort and skincare into one, and it has been the perfect combination. I attended the School of Botanical and Medical Aesthetics where I excelled in each program, finding that aesthetics came very naturally to me.
Straight out of school I got a job at an independently owned waxing studio, where I learned more about waxing than I did in school! I remember thinking how I never wanted to be a “waxer” but little did I know I would greatly succeed and waxing would become one of my most booked services!
I then moved onto a more corporate company to perfect the rest of my aesthetic services. And that’s exactly what I did! I knew in school that I was going for the right career but it wasn’t until I really applied my talents and building relationships to REALLY know I was ready.
Fast forwarding again, (this is where it gets good ☺️) I took all the amazing knowledge I had gained over the last 4 years and took the most challenging move yet. I decided I wanted to call my own shots. I wanted to be able to sell what I believed in.
It has been two year owning Wax and Wane and has been my greatest achievement yet! I am passionate about my clients’ experiences and find happiness when a client leaves feeling better than they came in, with beauty goals for the future.
I offer a variety of services, all that I love equally, and each to tailor every special client. My most common service requested is Lash Lifting, where I have been considered the "lash whisperer".
I believe in having an at home skin care plan/routine, where we can create consistent results in between appointments. I use Image Skin Care, and have for the past 5 years. I completely stand behind their products as I have seen amazing transformations just by switching a cleanser and moisturizer. I also believe it is important to always aim for results - from a simple brow wax, to treating acne or aging skin, or simply just some peace and relaxation during a stressful time.
In my free time I am an adventure loving, coffee loving, cat loving, Denver Native. When I am not obsessing over Aesthetics I am working on my cooking skills, spending time with the people I love, and spoiling my cats/children, Kiara and Mango. I am a Moon fanatic (hence the name), so much that I wanted my business to resonate with the Moon as well. I am so grateful for this life I get to live, and look forward to what is to come! Thank you for reading, I hope this helps you get to know me!
